Surrey County Council are currently reviewing the local bus service provision, looking specifically at passenger demand and financial sustainability. They are running a consultation seeking views on their review, which includes proposed changes to local services.
Proposed changes include:
- 457. Route: St Peters Hospital-Addlestone-New Haw-Rowtown-Ottershaw-St Peters Hospital. Timings: Mon-Fri. Proposed change: Integrate with 592/593 services.
- 592. Route: Addlestone-Rowtown-New Haw-Woodham-Kettlewell Hill-Woking Station-Morrisons. Timings: Thur/Fri/Sat. Proposed change: Combine service 592 and 593 routes to operate five or six days a week. Withdraw extension to Brooklands.
- 593. Route: Ottershaw-Lyne-Chertsey-Penton Park-Staines. Timings: Mon/Wed/Fri. Proposed change: See service 592 above
