Today in Parliament Dr Ben Spencer highlighted the importance of logistics firms in supporting domestic and international supply chains. These firms are vital to ensuring essential resources not only get where they are needed most during the crisis, but also to supporting businesses and our economy during the recovery to come.
Dr Spencer said:
“I am delighted the Minister recognised the vital role of these companies, especially those in Runnymede and Weybridge, and has committed to work across Government on behalf of UK logistics firms and the critical role they play.”
Constituents may also notice the slight change in procedure, with the Minister answering questions via video link as part of the new hybrid operating system in Parliament. This allows us to continue to represent our constituents and hold Government to account, while keeping to social distancing rules.
