Today I raised the importance of our close relationships with Finland and Sweden with Business Minister Lee Rowley MP. I highlighted the opportunities this provides for greater growth, investment and jobs for Runnymede and Weybridge and across the UK, particularly for our life sciences sector.
As a strong advocate for local business, and Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Finland and Vice-Chair of the Swedish APPG, I will continue to press for continued co-operation with northern Europe and the even greater opportunities for businesses and communities that can result.
